Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
At Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, missions are at the heart of our calling to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with others. Led by our Minister of Missions, Pastor Rick Hunter, our church is committed to taking the Gospel beyond the walls of Pleasant Dale through mission opportunities both locally and around the world. Whether we are serving a neighbor in our own community or traveling abroad to meet physical and spiritual needs, our purpose remains the same: to serve others, share the Word of God, and point people to Jesus.
We also understand that answering God’s call to missions isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes He asks us to go somewhere unfamiliar, serve in ways we never expected, or step outside of what feels safe and familiar. But missions are about obedience, being willing to say “yes” when God calls. We believe every follower of Christ has a part to play in the Great Commission, whether that means going, serving, giving, praying, or supporting those who are sent. Our prayer is that we will always be a church willing to go wherever God leads, trusting Him to use ordinary people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.
